1. What's on your ipod these days?
I have a lot of different styles of music on my ipod. It helps me keep my head in the world of different types of music so I can continue to create throughout different musical pieces. I would say that I have truly been inspired by the styles of R&B, jazz, and country.
2. What is your favorite city to travel to and why?
My favorite city to travel to of course is Kobe in Japan. It is a very nice relaxing place where you can go and meditate and also see some great sites.
3. What's your favorite song to perform?
"People Change" - The reason why I choose this song is because it makes my heart full of joy knowing that in life we come across many things that make us who we are and it reminds me of how much life has to offer.
4. What is special about Rockapella fans?
Rockapella fans are special to me because it's a chance to see how people appreciate our talents and what we give to others in their lives through music.
5. What are you looking forward to in 2007?
I am looking forward to more possibilities of touching more of the world's heart through music and my creative outlets.
6. How does Rockapella bring the energy and sound of a full band to an a capella performance?
We achieve this through the great arrangements of Scott Leonard. He has created a balance between harmony and rhythm which gives five talented men an opportunity to share that sound through voices alone.
7. Do you play any instruments (besides voice)?
My true talent is mainly my voice but when it comes to instruments, I play a little piano by ear.
8. At what point in your life did you realize you wanted to be involved with music?
I realized I wanted to be a musician during the Sunday afternoons when after having dinner at my grandmother's house, we would go next door to into my aunt's home and have a family jam session. We would sing some of the great hits of the 70's.
9. Along with your amazing lows, we heard you can hit some high notes; how did your range become so large?
My range has been expanded through lots of vocal coaching and personal training. Mostly all men who have a low voice can create a high sound using falsetto.
10. How was your experience working with Universal Studios in Osaka, Japan?
My experience working at USJ in Osaka was a very memorable one. I often have thoughts of returning to that world to relive the moments of joy I felt while I was there. The Japanese people were so nice and the atmosphere was one of the most beautiful I have ever experienced. I look forward to continuing my career with Rockapella and on a yearly basis returning to Japan to share our sucess stories and a few concerts there too.
