4:30 AM – The alarm goes off.
5:00 AM – I actually get out of bed and into the shower.
5:30 AM – Jeff, Fred, and I depart the hotel in Evansville, Indiana for the airport in Louisville, Kentucky, two hours away.
8:30 AM (time change) – We arrive at the airport, return the rental car, and have an amazing breakfast (two great breakfasts, two days in a row!).
10:20 AM – All seven of us leave on a plane headed for Cleveland, Ohio.
11:30 AM – Arrive in Cleveland.
12:30 PM – Depart Cleveland on another plane for Providence, RI.
2:10 PM – Arrive in Providence. We go to baggage claim, only to discover that the outer two zippers on my suitcase are open, and all of my toiletries are gone.
2:45 PM – We arrive at our hotel. I open my suitcase to change shirts, and find my toiletries buried underneath my clothes. Some mothers are apparently bad at telling their kids to put things back where they found them. Those kids go on to work for the TSA.
3:15 PM – Fred and I depart on twisted, confusing journey to find the Bristol Community College.
3:45 PM – Jeff calls, wondering if he could use the car. He and I searched for food, and ended up eating right next to the hotel.
5:45 PM – I return to the theater.
7:00 PM – Soundcheck
8:00 PM – Showtime.
10:15 PM – Show ends, and we get ready for the meet and greet. It’s obvious by this point that it has been a long day. Droopy eyes, short attention spans, general fatigue.
