Part 6: Munich
6 hours on the super-train brings us to snowy Munich.

Let it snow!
We stay at a less expensive hotel in the "suburbs". A trip into town includes an odd radio appearance to promote our appearance at our local show - at a venue known for its a cappella crowd. Basically we're told "if you can make it here you can make it anywhere" in German a cappella. Hmm...sounds oddly familiar.

Venue in Munich, Germany
A shopping and sightseeing trip into town takes us to Marienplatz...an historic town square featuring a massive gothic government building with a near-life-size cuckoo clock in its tower. We shopped around and waited for the bells and centuries-old Disney experience....it was kinda slow, but full of that old world charm.

Arriving at the venue, we found that it is indeed an a cappella haunt. Publicity photos and posters of many American and European groups are plastered on the walls. The show filled up fast with a standing-room crowd at knee-level to us...reminded me of a German version of some of our Japanese club experiences. Much fun.
